ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) August 20, 2004 -- Prominent Placement, Inc., a leading Atlanta search engine marketing firm, today announced that its founder, Stacy Williams, will moderate two panel discussions at the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) upcoming meeting. The AiMA event, entitled “Search”ing for Answers, will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at the Georgia Tech Global Learning & Conference Center in Atlanta from 6 to 9 p.m.
According to Safa Rashtchy, Senior Analyst and Managing Director of Piper Jaffray, global search revenues are expected to grow from $1.3 billion in 2002 to $10.8 billion in 2008. This estimate excludes local search. However, Geoff Ramsey, the CEO of eMarketer, has reported that local search represents 25.1% of commercial searches, making it a major growth opportunity.
The first panel discussion that Stacy Williams will moderate will include Jeff Coyle, Search Marketing Analyst for KnowledgeStorm, and Ernie White, Assistant Vice President, Business Development, for KnowX, LLC. Stacy Williams has a combined 16 years of experience and education in marketing.
